Dr. Subhra Kinkor Goswami

Dr Subhra Kinkor Goswami is a seasoned Ophthalmologist and an ace Anterior Segment Surgeon from Assam. He holds a bountiful experience of three decades in the field of eye and vision care. Presently, Dr. Goswami practises at three centres in Assam which are Nalbari Eye Hospital (Nalbari), Sight First Eye Clinic (Guwahati) and Sarupeta Vision Centre (Sarupeta).

Dr. Goswami graduated from Gauhati Medical College following which he completed his residency from CMC, Vellore. He further obtained his post graduation training from AMU, Aligarh and later underwent fellowship training programs in Anterior Segment and Phacoemulsification.

Dr Goswami is a dedicated social worker. He has organized numerous free eye checkup camps and performed thousands of cataract surgeries, as a part of a social cause. As a mark of recognition for his efforts towards community service, Dr. Goswami has been honoured with several awards for the same. Dr. Goswami is the Former General Secretary of All Assam Ophthalmological Society. He currently holds significant positions such as Jt Secretary of Eastern India Zonal Ophthalmological Congress, Member of Managing Committee associated with All India Ophthalmological Society and Dist. Chairman of Lions Club-Dist 322D.

Dr. Goswami is a prolific writer and an avid singer. He has furnished several articles in leading Assamese dailies and is also known for his singing skills.
